Huntsville sources tell FTVLive that WZDX General Manager Mark Overstreet held a staff meeting and said Nexstar has decided to spin off the station.

Sources say that Nexstar plans to keep WHNT and the CW channel WHDF.

As to who will be buying WZDX, that was not announced.
