Former KENS (San Antonio) Anchor Sarah Lucero has landed a General Manager job.

The former anchor turned bodybuilder and fitness personality will be River City Wrestling's special guest general manager for today and today only.

"The owner of [River City Wrestling] is a friend of mine," she said. "He's asked me to do it before and I had time this Friday, and it sounded like a lot of fun."

Lucero grew up watching wrestling, and even picked up a few moves when she covered a few wrestling shows during her time at the news station.

"Wrestling is a Texas tradition," she said. "It's very ingrained in our culture. It's something I grew up with, and it brings a big smile to my face."

"Does that help me if I plan to get into the wrestling ring? I bet it will," she laughed.
