EXCLUSIVE: Bar Fight Anchor to Resurface in Kentucky
Back in August, FTVLive was the FIRST to report that two female Anchors at Gray owned WSAZ in Charleston, WV, got into a bar fight.
News Anchor Erica Bivens suffered a fractured skull and other injuries after Weather Anchor Chelsea Ambriz knocked her to the ground.
Charges were filed against Ambriz and the case is still winding its way through the system.
WSAZ fired both anchors and many believe that the firing of Bivens, the victim in the crime was unfair to say the least.
Well, FTVLive can report EXCLUSIVELY that Bivens is about to resurface back on a TV newscast. We have learned that Bivens has landed the Morning Anchor job at WTVQ in Lexington. She will also host a lifestyle show in addition to to her news anchoring.
Sources say Bivens had another offer and interest from other stations, but is very happy to land in Lexington.
In our opinion, Bivens was wrongly fired by Gray and it is good to see a station like WTVQ help her land back in the business.
She starts the new gig later this month.
