Today is the last day for WAVY (Norfolk) Meteorologist Ashley Baylor.

Baylor is bailing on WAVY, but she is staying in the Nexstar family.

She is headed to WTNH (New Haven), she posted this to her social media:

"Some personal news this morning.. I've accepted a new job at our sister station, @WTNH , in New Haven, CT. While I'm thrilled to return to New England and work with a fantastic team, I will miss the friends I've made at WAVY and in Hampton Roads. My last day will be Jan 2nd."

She spent 3 years at WAVY.
