Sinclair Causes a STIRR
Sinclair has launched its streaming service called STIRR that aims to bring local TV news and other content to the growing number of cord cutters across the U.S.
Sinclair is using its 190+ TV stations for content along with some other services.
The big difference is that unlike TV streaming services such as Sling TV, PlayStation Vue, Hulu with Live TV or YouTube TV, for example, STIRR will be free and ad-supported instead of a paid subscription.
When you log onto STIRR you will be given a chance to pick which Sinclair station’s content you are most interested in.
If you do not have a Sinclair station in your area, it will default to WJLA in DC.
