As Tropical Storm Gordon drenched Miami the past couple days, WPLG was caught with their pants down. 

The station mainly missed the mark on the forecast and then when they had their "storm expert" on the air, it was a phoner. 

It made for some of the lamest news in the market. 

Update: WPLG News Director Bill Pohovey says that his station was the only one that was prepared for the storm. He did not say why his "Hurricane Specialist" was not in studio and was on the phone. 

People inside the station tell FTVLive that the station was not prepared, Pohovey says that not the case.
