Credit Where Credit is Due
Early last week, FTVLive was the FIRST to tell you about the bar fight between two Anchors from WSAZ in Charleston, WV.
It took everyone else till the end of the week to catch up to FTVLive and many of those that did gave us credit for breaking the story.
Here's a small sample:
Fox News was one of the first to post the story and gave proper credit to FTVLive.
The New York Post wrote the story and included this line, "Bivens had been out on the town, drinking with her hubby, Donald, in Charleston when the couple ran into Ambriz, according to a police report obtained by the local station FTVLive.com."
Local station?
First, FTVLive is not a station and as for local, the New York Post is closer to Charleston, WV than we are here in Florida.
The Mirror in the UK also picked up on or story, gave us credit and did not call us a local station.
WSOC, the Cox station in Charlotte was good with the credit and the details.
The iHeart Radio Stations were good to us and good on their facts and so was MSN.
Even TVSpy gave FTVLive the proper credit.
The very lame websites run by Rick Iler and Harry Jessell did not give FTVLive credit. But then again both these sites are journalistically challenged and not worth the time of day in the first place.
To those that did give proper credit, thank you.
