The final numbers for the 2017/18 broadcast season comes out later today and both ABC and NBC News will claim that they are No. 1 in the evening news race.

For the second year in a row, ABC’s World News Tonight with David Muir will win the ratings when it comes to total viewers.

NBC’s Nightly News with Lester Holt will win the demos.
