On Friday, FTVLive told you that former WSAZ (Charleston) Weather Anchor Chelsea Ambriz had a date with the judge.

Ambriz was answering to charges after being involved in a bar fight back in August with follow co-Anchor Erica Bivens.

Bivens suffered a fractured skull in the incident and was not charged.

Both Anchors were fired and WSAZ has completely ignored the story (so much for transparency?).

So here is the basically what happened in court on Friday.

Ambriz had to post a $1,500 PR Bond for a future court appearance.

She was ordered by the judge she is to have no contact directly or indirectly with Bivens.

Ambriz did not say a word while in court. Her parents were in the courtroom, along with Bivens attorney.

Ambriz attorney tried to move the arraignment into private chambers, but it was denied. The lawyer also specifically asked for the “victim’s attorney” to be removed, that request was also denied.

Interestingly, there was other media members in the courtroom, but they were there to gawk and not report. So far, the other stations, just like WSAZ are ignoring the story.

Because of Bivens’ injuries, charges against Ambriz could be bumped up to a felony. But that has not been done at this time.
