Boris's Latest "Must Run" at Sinclair
Sinclair’s poster boy Boris Epshteyn was able to get a sit down interview with Donald Trump. Boy….that must have been hard.
In Today’s must run story, Sinclair is nearly peeing their pants for Boris and Trump.
They sent out an email to their stations and of course FTVLIve was able to obtain it:
"Today, Bottom Line with Boris was able to secure an exclusive sit down interview with President Trump on a number of important topics. Stand by for more instructions but a tool kit is being readied for you to do a quick turnaround promotion to produce today."
I’m sure there will be hard hitting questions like, “Are you a great President or the greatest President?”
I will take up 3:00 of precious news time for some more Sinclair/Trump propaganda.
Here is more of the email to stations telling them that this should be moved up in the newscast:
Boris has just completed an interview with the President in Las Vegas. Here's what to expect.
1.VOSOT FOR NEWS SEGMENTS.
This is a soundbite from the interview about a relevant hot topic in the news. The National Desk in DC will write this. Focus TBD soon. The tag of this VOSOT should include a push to watch the Bottomline segment on your station. Promote the time of the airing.
2. BORIS' SEGMENT
This segment will be approximately 3:00. IF you play this in a final commercial pod or break, consider moving it up higher into the newscast given the topics of the interview. Your news director makes the decision locally of where this segment airs.
A number of Sinclair insiders have told FTVLive that they are just downright embarrassed by all of this.
It should also be pointed out that Epshteyn worked for Trump and signed an NDA while doing so.
So why the hell would any news organization let him conduct this interview?
