Who Replaces Chen on The Talk?
So, with Julie Chen now gone from The Talk at CBS, the question now, is who the network replaces her with?
Also, it'll certainly be interesting to see whether she'll be back for season 21 of prime-time competition show Big Brother.
This could be kind of a sequel to Star Jones departure from The View, assuming CBS is considering whether or not to renew Chen's contract.
As for who could and might potentially replace Chen on The Talk?
Paula Zahn, former co-host of CBS This Morning (from the 1987-1999 incarnation)
Ann Curry, former newsreader and co-host of Today (1997-2012), and current host of PBS series Till We Meet Again
If Zahn and/or Curry have no interest in relocating from the east coast to the west coast, some of the syndicated newsmagazine shows have a roster of former and current talents, if any are interested and/or available...
- Former Extra co-host Dayna Devon
- Former Entertainment Tonight co-host Mary Hart
- Another former Entertainment Tonight fixture, as well as former LA local news anchor Jann Carl
- Former Entertainment Tonight and Extra co-host, and TV and radio talk show host Leeza Gibbons
- Former Access Hollywood fixture Shaun Robinson
- Former Good Morning America co-host and another former LA local news anchor Lisa McRee
Before show producers settle on a permanent replacement, we could see on-air auditions being done.
