Most of the people that you see reporting the news on the networks, got their start at local TV stations across the country.

The folks are the network still put their pants on one leg at a time and basically do the same job that local Reporters do.

But, for some reason there are still those at local stations that lose their shit when the networks come to town.

Not only are local Reporters quick to try and grab selfies with the network folks, some stations even cover the networks being in town as a news story.

Really?

Yep…. Nexstar owned KTVX was almost giddy that the networks came to Salt Lake City to cover the release of Wanda Barzee, one of Elizabeth Smart's kidnappers.
