FTVLIve told you yesterday as the news broke that CBS 60 Minutes Executive Producer Jeff Fager was fired from the network.

While there is still an ongoing investigation into Fager’s actions at CBS News, he says that he was fired for sending a text message to a CBS Reporter.

CBS New Reporter Jericka Duncan tweeted out that it was her that Fager contacted.

So, what did he say?

"Be careful," he wrote. "There are people who lost their jobs trying to harm me."

So an Executive at CBS News threaten the job of a CBS Reporter that was only doing her job.

Fager deserved to be whacked and CBS did the right thing.

The investigation into more of his conduct at CBS News continues.

Many inside 60 Minutes are coming to Fager’s defense. But, when a boss threatens a Reporter that is doing her job, I’m not sure how you can defend that?

I can’t and I won’t.
