KRBC Chief Meteorologist and Main Anchor Randy Turner will soon depart the station.
Turner has spent nearly 40 years in broadcasting, in both radio and television.
“We are, of course, saddened to see Randy leave, but we are happy for him and his new endeavors,” said General Manager/VP Albert Gutierrez. “Randy has done a tremendous job for us over the years.”
Turner will become the Executive Director for the Coleman County Chamber of Commerce.
“I’ve enjoyed my time serving the viewers of the Big Country,” said Turner. “Thank you to the viewers for the trust they have given me throughout the years.”
“We will miss Randy and his energy,” said News Director Travis Ruiz. “Randy will always be a part of our family and we look forward to the future at KRBC.”
He signs off at the end of October.
He knows the book starts in November....Right?
