FTVLive FIRST told you yesterday that KDKA (Pittsburgh) had parted ways with longtime News Director Anne Linaberger. 

Linaberger had been at KDKA since 1998 and moved up to the ND job from assistant news director in 2010. 

Newly hired KDKA GM Jay Howell is now looking for a new news boss. 

Sources tell FTVLIve that after Linaberger was shown the door, the Assistant News Director was placed in charge and then held meetings with EPs and line producers.
