WPMT (York, PA) Weekend Anchor Jaime Garland is leaving the station to....say it with me...... spend more time with her family. 

In a social media post, Garland said, "There is no negative reason for my departure; only that the business has changed a lot over the years and at this point, it's just more important for me to be with my family."

WPMT News Director Matthew McConico said, "We wanted to keep Jaime on our team," he said "She is a great leader, teacher and co-worker.  But the offer of more time with her family was significantly more lucrative than anything that we could offer." 

Certainly more than the 15 raise that so many stations are offering talent these days.
