KFDM (Beaumont, Texas) reported on a woman that had shot a man and then barricaded herself inside an apartment with two children. 

At first the station reported the suspect's reason for shooting the guy.

The station wrote this: 

KFDM then updated the story and no longer gave the reason that the suspect pulled the trigger. 

So, was the man shot for farting?
