Ruben Diaz worked as a Sports Anchor for KTUL in Tulsa for 10 years. He left the station, coached basketball and then showed back up on KJRH in Tulsa in late 2017. 

He left the Scripps station and was out of the business for awhile, but just now resurfaced  anchoring news at KFSM in Ft. Smith, AK. 

He posted this picture of him on the anchor desk to his social media: 

A reason for him leaving the Tulsa airwaves was never given, but we wonder if it had anything to do with this? 

Diaz left KJRH just a short time after staring at the station and it was just weeks after he started there that he was arrested for writing bad checks. 

Now he's landed a gig in Ft. Smith.

Let's hope he pays cash from this point forward.
