WTVR (Richmond) Reporter Melissa Hipolit was sent to Charlottesville to cover the year anniversary of the day the racists came to town and killed a woman. 

But, while there to cover the story, Hilpolit ran into singer Dave Matthews.

Years ago, I played a round of golf with Dave Matthews and it wasn't until we were 13 holes into the round that I found out who he was? 

I didn't take a selfie, he did offer me tickets to his show, I politely declined.
