It got a bit awkward at CNBC, when the company ran a fire drill. 

The drill was done as a test and training to see how well the staff could evacuate the CNBC building.  

When the alarm sounded, all "non-essential employees" were told to leave the building. 

It was at that awkward point that many employees who thought they were essential, learned they were not.
