Robin Meade Returns After Surgery
As anyone that reads FTVLive regularly knows, we think HLN Anchor Robin Meade is a one in a million person.
But she has been off the air with a condition that hits fewer that 200,000 people a year.
Meade was suffering from a corneal ulcer which is very rare. A corneal ulcer is a condition in which inflammation of the outermost layer of the eye results in pain.
Corneal ulcers can occur from direct injury to the eye, or from a bacterial, fungal, or viral infection.
The condition knocked FTVLive's favorite off the air for a couple of weeks and she plans on returning part-time this morning.
Meade says that she is only going to anchor the 6a & 7a of her show this morning and then hopefully add back in all 5 hours as the week wears on.
I'm know we and I'm sure her viewers are glad to see her back.
