Nexstar's WIVB has poached Tegna's WGRZ Reporter and she's getting a bump up. 

Erica Brecher spent the past 4 years reporting for WGRZ and now she is crossing the street to add anchoring to her duties. 

WIVB has hired Brecher as their new Weekend Anchor. She occasionally filled in as an Anchor at WGRZ. 

She will also be joining her husband at the Nexstar station. Brecher is married to Meterologist Andrew Baglini.

Non-compete clauses in media contracts are unenforceable in New York State and that allowed Brecher to make the uninterrupted jump across the street.
