Making A Difference
While many Traffic Anchors in TV News are wondering what is the best snapchat filter for their next selfie, there is one Reporter that really is trying to make a difference.
NBC Boston Traffic Reporter Natasha Verma took on cancer and kicked it's ass. But while she was battling cancer, she was also trying to help others and raise money to make wigs for cancer patients that have lost their hair.
This is a woman that was battling cancer, yet she was still trying to help others.
Now, this week, Verma is helping some that have a lot of hair. On Tuesday, the Reporter hosted Canines and Cocktails.
The event was to help raise money for Great Dog Rescue New England, an all-breed dog rescue based in Massachusetts. The organization rescues abandoned dogs from the streets and finds them their forever homes.
I don't know about you, but the world could use a lot more people like Natasha Verma.
Think about it and what she does....you know before you take that next selfie.
