Another Anchor is leaving Nexstar's WANE (Fort Wayne) and leaving TV news altogether. 

Anchor Brett Thomas has signed off for the last time and has accepted a position with Moore & Associates in Fort Wayne, an Private Wealth Management Practice.

Thomas's co-anchor Heather Herron announced in March that she was leaving the station to also get out of the business.  

“My separation with WANE is amicable and of my own doing. It was purely a family decision,” Thomas said. ” Heather (Herron) always regretted working evenings and missing out on her kids’ activities. And after the birth of my third daughter, Dolly Rae, I felt it was time to embark on a new career.”

Thomas had been with the station since 2015.
