Of course, you sort of expect TV news Anchors to have a big ego. But, CNN's John Berman can't get enough of his own name. 

Berman took over for Chris Cuomo  who leaves the morning show for the w̶i̶t̶n̶e̶s̶s̶ ̶p̶r̶o̶t̶e̶c̶t̶i̶o̶n̶ ̶p̶r̶o̶g̶r̶a̶m̶ CNN prime time. 

 Berman was all giddy to hear actor James Earl Jones say his name on CNN's New Day open. 

“That sounded awesome. That was Darth Vader. That was James Earl Jones just saying my name, which is all I ever really wanted,” said Berman at the top of the 6 a.m. block Tuesday.

He then asked the control room to play it over and over again, which of course they did. 

Also, it should be noted that New Day host  Alison Camerota has switched chairs and moved into the seat that Chris Cuomo used to sit in and now she is sitting on the camera right side of the anchor desk. 

Camerota dispelled that the move was because that side is the “alpha” chair — claiming that side of the set shows off her “better side.”

Yep....this is CNN.
