It was 38 years ago Today that CNN launched an all news operation. 

Boy, how times have changed. 

Back in the day, CNN focused entirely on news. No Anchor spouting their opinions, no nightly newsletter that slammed the President and the competition excessively. No host getting drunk on the air and talking about a co-host's rack. 

No, back 38 years ago, it was about the news and only about the news. It was about bringing you the story without the opinion. 

How nice would it be to hop in the DeLorean and head back to a day where cable news was about news and not about trying to divide this county and make it a worse place to live? 

I would say Happy Birthday CNN, but that CNN no longer exist and sadly it was murdered at the hands of Jeff Zucker years ago.
