Back in April, FTVLive FIRST told you that WXYZ Weekend Sports Anchor Kacie Hollins would be leaving the station soon. 

The Scripps station has seen a massive amount of turnover lately and Hollins is just the latest one to head to the exit. 

She sent this email out to the staff yesterday, confirming what FTVLive FIRST reported last month:

I've told a lot of you already, but since it's in the paper now I figured I should officially let everyone know: I'm leaving Channel 7 at the end of June to go back to school!

It's been an amazing three years. Detroit has truly stolen my heart and will always feel like a piece of home.

My last day is June 24.
