Things were heating up at CBS O&O KOVR/KMAX in Sacramento. 

It seems that a fire broke out yesterday morning inside the station. 

A battery charger in the studio caught fire and was quickly extinguished. The building was briefly evacuated until the fire department gave the all clear.

The noon news was done from the newsroom as crews cleaned up the mess made by the fire extinguisher.
