It's rare when anyone makes it out of WGCL-TV, with their career intact. The Meredith station burns through GM's, ND's and talent, like Sherman through Atlanta.

In January, FTVLive reported that GM Mark Pimentel had been fired after three years in the corner office. That's a long time at that station.

His new gig is as GM of News Press & Gazette's KRDO-TV in Colorado Springs. He'll also oversee KRDO Radio and KTLO, the Telemundo station. He starts April 23rd.

Don't worry Mark, it may not be as big a market, but the cost of living is better and there will be much less stress.
