Yesterday, FTVLive pointed out how much the Edward R. Murrow awards make for the RTDNA. 

While we threw around a bunch of numbers off the top of our head, we really did wonder what the real figures were? 

So, we checked out the RTDNA 2016 taxes and we have to admit, it was a lot more money than even we suspected. 

Looking at part 8 of the RTDNA's 2016 taxes, you will see that awards brought in $656,818 bucks!

The convention, which at one time was a huge money maker for the organization brought in $116,808 bucks. 

While you might be happy that you won that Murrow award, no one is more happy than the RTDNA.

You and your colleagues plunked down over six hundred grand and the RTDNA thanks you.
