KRDO radio in Colorado Springs was reporting about the wildfires in the area and why air support to fight the fires had to be suspended:
Sources tell FTVLive that the drone in question was being flown by KRDO TV.
Oopsy...
The sheriff's office then sent out this email to the local stations and obtained by FTVLive:

Subject: Drone Incursion Postpones MM117 Fire Air Operations
Media Partners,
Air operations on MM117 were postponed this afternoon due to a drone incursion by a media outlet. There is still a Temporary Flight Restriction (TFR) spanning a 10-mile radius all directions around Hanover. This information was included in the Joint Media Release that was sent out this morning. Flying a drone during wildfire operations can be deadly. We expect all media outlets to respect the TFR that is in place.
