Hot Mess For Hannity, Bigger Mess for Fox News
It's not like Fox News host Sean Hannity has any credibility to begin with, but he now has put his network in an awkward place.
It was revealed in court that Donald Trump's lawyer, Micheal Cohen has also represented Hannity. Something that Hannity has never made public.
Hannity quickly tried to snuff out the story on Twitter:
Of course, one must ask, if Hannity never retained him, why would he expect those conversations to be confidential?
If he is not your lawyer, than attorney/client privileges do not exist. Also, if he was not his lawyer, why did Cohen's lawyer said Hannity was a client in court?
Again, this is not as big a problem for Sean Hannity as it is for Fox News. Everyone knows that Hannity is just a lapdog for President Trump and that much of what he says is nothing but partisan crap.
But, with Cohen being so much in the news and being the lawyer of the President, it seems that Hannity should have been open about his relationship with the lawyer. If not to viewers, at least to Fox News.
It is more than likely that the higher ups at Fox News did not know. If they did, letting Hannity spew his crap on the air without disclosing his ties to Cohen, would be about as unethical as you can get.
It is likely that this story will have little damage to Hannity, he's a buffoon to begin with. But, this could go a long way in hurting Fox News.
I don't know about you, but if I was Fox News, I would think it is time that Mr. Hannity goes off on one of those infamous Fox vacations and I would schedule ASAP.
Just saying...
