A month ago FTVLive told you the story of Tahera Rahman. 

Rahman made history when she became the first hijab wearing Reporter to appear on a local newscast in the US. 

Rahman fought an uphill fight and finally got on the air at WHBF in Rock Island, Illinois in the Quad Cities. 

After FTVLive posted the story, many others followed and over at NBC, a staffer for Megyn Kelly Today saw our story and this morning Rahman will be featured on Kelly's show. 

Kelly's “She Made It” series showcases women who against the odds, keep fighting until they've "made it."

We're fairly certain that Rahman has her sites set higher than Rock Island, Illinois and while she made it on air, we're betting she has bigger dreams before she will think she really made it. 

Plus, until you sit across from Savannah and Hoda, you really haven't "made it" at the Today Show. Megyn Kelly's show doesn't count. 

But, all that aside, we are happy for Rahman and we were happy to bring her story into the national focus. 

This woman has big dreams and we have a feeling she will obtain them.
