From Montana to the Big Apple
Talk about culture shock....
KXLH (Helena, MT) Weather Anchor Mike Rawlins signed off from the station after 7 years and is now headed on to a new job at WNBC in New York.
Wait! What?!
Rawlins is leaving the sticks of Montana to become the executive producer of weather at WNBC, where he will take a "behind the scenes" role in managing the weather department in the largest city in America.
Rawlins was hired in June of 2011 as a reporter and meteorologist at KRTV, and quickly moved into a full-time meteorologist position.
Here's his sign off from the Montana station and trying to picture him in the rough and tumble world of NYC is a bit hard to do.
