Brian vs. Brian
CNN basically hired media critic Brian Stelter to take shots at Fox News and slam them as much as he possibly can.
While Stelter has been taking his orders from Jeff Zucker to do just that, MSNBC has passed CNN in the ratings.
In February, CNN dropped about 20% in the ratings and MNBC went up about the same. While Stelter is spending his time attacking Fox News and claiming it is state-run television, the CNN viewers are leaving for MSNBC.
Maybe Stelter should take his focus off of Fox News and move it over to MSNBC.
In the meantime, Fox News knows that they have a lightweight media critic in Howard Kurtz that can do nothing more than carry the water for Donald Trump.
So, Fox News went out and hired Brian Flood, to be the Brian Stelter of Fox News.
Flood spends his time on the Fox News website taking shots at the other networks and ignores the crap going on at his own.
He has written stupid stories about NBC and has spent time Twitter fighting with Brian Stelter.
Yesterday, Stelter tried to claim that Fox News does not have "quality viewers" and it is all about demos.
Problem is, Fox News clobbers CNN in the demos as well.
Stelter and Flood went back and forth on Twitter:
The idea that Stelter is not going to take CNN to task for their stupid mistakes and bad moves and the fact that Flood will not do the same at Fox News, shows that both these guys are nothing more than shills for their employer.
It never made sense to us for a network to have a media critic that is not willing to call out their own network.
So, basically, they are both nothing more than shills hired to attack the competition and look very petty doing so.
A good rule of thumb here is this.... if it is a media critic and it's named Brian, take everything they say with a grain of salt.
It's more than likely they are not giving you the real story and they are just sucking up to their boss.
Just saying...
