Former WATE (Knoxville) Anchor Mona Nair is about to resurface in the market, but don't look for her on any newscast. 

Nair tells FTVLive that she has signed a deal to host Jewelry Television. 

Nair left the station in 2017 to go to India and get certified as a yoga instructor. She says when she returned the Knoxville based national home shopping network Jewelry Television asked her to join their on-air talent team.

"It’s a unique role where I’ll be traveling to parts of Asia where they source their gems to do shoots, as well as on set in Knoxville," Nair tells FTVLive. 

No more talking about school shootings and house fires and now it's talk about carrots and shine. Might sound a bit boring to us, but it has to be much better on the mental health.
