Viewers watching KRIS (Corpus Christi) newscast on Monday night got quite a surprise. 

During the station's 9 p.m. newscast, while doing a story about a new bridge the screen went black. A voice is then heard whispering the words "f**k it, lick it, smell it."

When the shot cut back to Anchor Stephania Jimenez, she quickly apologized for what just happened. 

KRIS News Director Paul Alexander said Tuesday the media outlet's priority is to have the public's trust and that it has started a thorough investigation into what happened.

"This is something that we take very seriously," Alexander said. "We will get to the bottom of this."

Alexander said the investigation should be completed quickly, and findings will be released.

KRIS posted an apology on its Facebook page, but it was quickly taken down.

No word why? 

Sources tell FTVLive that the audio heard on the air was a KRIS Reporter. Sources say that before the Reporter cuts audio, he says "fuck it like it suck it." Now it has gone out on the air and it appears the Reporter is at least looking at a few days off without pay.
