You may recall about this same time last week, FTVLive told you how FCC Chairman (and Trump/Sinclair lap dog) Ajit Pai was awarded the Charlton Heston Courage Award from the NRA. They gave him the award for supposedly enduring death threats when he repealed net neutrality, allowing internet providers to jack up all our rates.

Turns out, Pai is now declining the award, which came with a handcrafted rifle. The reason? ETHICS.  (We'll give you a few moments to stop laughing before continuing the story......

......OK.) Apparently, attorneys in the FCC's Office of General Counsel advised Pai this would not be a good move. Pai wrote a letter to the NRA 'respectfully declining' the award.

We wonder if it also has anything to do with the fact Pai is being investigated by his own agency for possible conflicts of interest with Sinclair?
