Erin Little's life after TV news was just that...Little.
Little was the weather anchor at KMNC in Kansas City and left that job to become the director of communications for the Shawnee Mission school district.
But life after TV news obviously was not for her and she quit that job back in December.
Now, she's back on the air across the street at KCTV doing morning weather.
“Erin brings energy and warmth to the morning," KCTV5/KSMO Vice President and General Manager Chuck Poduska said. "She’ll be a familiar face to those who followed her and she’ll make a strong connection to newer Kansas City viewers. We couldn’t be prouder to welcome her to the KCTV5/KSMO family.”
“I know that sometimes it’s hard to get up in the morning, so I hope to be able to help you prepare you for the day ahead, and to start it off with a smile," Little said.
CBS News Anchor Jeff Glor welcomed Little back to the station despite the fact that he had no clue who she was or what she did until he was asked to do the promo.
