After a couple of years as a Reporter, WNYT (Albany) has bumped up Asa Stackel to the anchor chair. 

Stackel kicked off the Feb book by getting the morning Anchor gig, sitting alongside Subrina Dhammi and meteorologist Paul Caiano. 

He joined WNYT in June 2015 as a Reporter coming from his hometown station WWNY in Watertown, New York.
