Back at the end of January, FTVLive told you that WLTZ (Columbus, GA) Anchor Mallory Hagan was thinking about making a run for Alabama U.S. House District 3 as a Democrat. 

Which makes us wonder, if she is exploring a run for office, why is she still on the air?  Shouldn't the station take her off until she makes up her mind?

Well as you could have expected, the former Miss America has announced her Democratic bid for Alabama's District 3 seat during an event at her parents' dance studio on Tuesday.

Ok....act surprised now.
