You had One Job (Updated)
It was a fairly simple assignment and yet it still got screwed up.
A local car dealership gave WOOD TV in Grand Rapids two spots to run right after the Super Bowl. One spot said Congratulations Patriots and the other said Congratulations Eagles.
All the station had to do was run the correct ad after the game.
So, how'd they do?
Update: We are now told that WOOD did not have anything to do with this. All spots are run from a corporate hub in Indianapolis.
WOOD says they reached out to the car dealership after the incident and they confirmed they wanted a "congrats patriots" spot to run win or lose.
Which is really lame, but it appears that it was not WOOD's fault.
