FTVLive was the FIRST to tell you last week, that WNBC News Director Susan Sullivan was leaving the station. 

FTVLive broke the news and the other TV blogs are still trying to play catch up. 

 Sullivan is leaving WNBC, but she is not leaving the Peacock. She will step up to the mothership and work at NBC News. 

That means, there might now be two News Director jobs open in the Big Apple. 

We say might, because WABC has never updated the status of their News Director Camille Edwards.

Last we heard from Edwards, she told the staff that she was taking an extended leave from the ABC O&O and would be back to work on January 2nd. Here we are Feb 26th, and she still hasn't come back to work.

Insiders told FTVLive a while back that Edwards is not returning, but the station won't say either way.  

So now, it appears to of the biggest and best ND jobs are open and as the Feb book wraps up you can expect a number of other News Director jobs to open up as well.
