It's time to give the ladies a shot. 

WNYW has named Tina Cervasio, the former longtime Knicks reporter and their new lead Spports Anchor/Reporter as well as the host of its Sunday night sports show, “Sports Xtra.”

Cervasio will become the first woman to serve as permanent host of “Sports Xtra,” which has been on the air for nearly a half-century.

Duke Castiglione had hosted the show before leaving late last year.
