WJBK Reporter Camille Amiri often stands out in the snowstorm and tells drivers to be careful on the roads and take it slow during winter weather.

She says she was doing that and she still ended up in an accident. 

" I was doing all the right things this morning on my way to work but I lost control of my car and was in an accident on the way to work," Amiri said. 

As for how she got in the accident, "Driving very slowly and cautiously on I-696 west bound I suddenly lost control of my car, I started fishtailing and ended up here. The front end of my car against the wall and the back end sticking out in traffic," she said. 

Amiri said that she wasn't hurt and the car did not have much damage. 

The good news, when she finally did make into work, she had her story for the day.
