Sweeping Up in Pittsburgh
Depending on how you look at it, every station in the Pittsburgh market was either a winner or a loser in the November sweeps.
The Post Gazette writes that in the key demo valued by advertisers (persons ages 25-54), WTAE-TV was first at 5 and 6 a.m. and 4 p.m. WPXI-TV landed in the top spot at 5, 6 and 11 p.m. KDKA-TV was No. 1 at noon.
In household ratings, KDKA was No. 1 at noon, 4, 5, 6 and 11 p.m. WTAE took the top spot at 5 and 6 a.m.
