Longtime WBRE Meteorologist Dave Kuharchik has left the Nexstar station.

Kuharchik joined the station in 1999 as a 21-year-old meteorologist.

He served as a news reporter, a creator and co-host of the area's only lifestyle program "pa live!, and an ambassador in the community for so many great causes.

The station did not say where he is headed next.
