Fox Launches HR Investigation Involving Executive Producer
Sources tell FTVLive that Fox HR is investigating the Executive Producer of the top-rated daytime business program "Varney & Co.", on Fox Business Network.
Sources tell FTVLive that employees have lodged complaints against EP Justin Mannato. Insiders tell FTVLive that at least half dozen employees on his team have been called to the SVP of HR's office to discuss what is being called "toxic" and "inappropriate" behavior.
One employee tells FTVLive that Mannato, is seen “shaming his employees in public” and is “disrespecting” people including his boss in public. While co-workers have told FTVLive about inappropriate behavior, none have lobbed the complaint of “sexual harassment.”
FTVLive reached out to Fox for comment, a Fox News spokesperson would not confirm whether there was an investigation noting that it was an internal employee matter.
It should be pointed out that over the last 2 1/2 years, since Roger Ailes was walked out of the building for the last time, that the culture has been completely changed at Fox News and Fox Business for the better.
Complaints against a boss, or anyone such as these are taken seriously and looked into immediately by the company’s HR department.
While Fox is not confirming that HR is investigating the claims against Mannato, FTVLive has confirmed that is the case.
We’ll keep your posted when we hear more.
