Back on The Throne
While the White House was stopping CNN’s Jim Acosta from doing his job, Fox News was still letting Sean Hannity spew his propaganda on Fox News.
Despite the fact that Hannity was on stage campaigning for Trump and the GOP on Monday night, he was back in his chair at Fox News on Wednesday night.
After Hannity was done stumping for Trump, Fox News released this statement to FTVLive, “FOX News does not condone any talent participating in campaign events. We have an extraordinary team of journalists helming our coverage tonight and we are extremely proud of their work. This was an unfortunate distraction and has been addressed.”
When FNC says this “has been addressed” some thought that Hannity might (should have been) suspended. But, since he was back on the air last night, still sucking up to POTUS, we can only guess that Fox News gave Hannity 10 lashes with a wet noodle.
Many inside Fox News are livid what Hannity did and are even more livid on how the network is letting him get away with it.
“Roger Ailes would have never let this happen,” said one Fox News staffer, adding “There are rules for us, but obviously not Sean Hannity.”
