SoCal News Director Balks at Hiring Gay Man
KUSI in SanDiego has an opening for an Assignment Manager and newsie now working in Florida was interested in the job.
The candidate seemed well qualified and wanted the job, but he did not get it.
Why?
Well, according to KUSI News Director Steve Cohen, he said in an email to another staffer, “As discussed, his lifestyle is a problem.”
It seems that the candidate that was applying for the job was gay and that is not the type of person KUSI wants to hire.
I’m sorry, but isn’t there laws against this?
Also, what does having to be gay make the person any less qualified to be an Assignment Manger?
This shit pisses me off and we felt compelled to tell you that in 2018, people are still being denied jobs because of their “lifestyle”.
